Time in Dallas

Hello from Dallas! We are here so Kaylee can meet her birth family.. There have been some bumps in the road, but over all, things have gone pretty well. Praise God!! Today she gets to meet her grandmother. She is really looking forward to that! While she is doing that, Shaphan and I get to hang out! YAY! and I didn't bring my boys. So, it is me and Shaphan and NO KIDS today and tomorrow! :) *don't know where Chris will be.. hehehe* The weather has been a mess all week for us in Austin and down here. That has been exciting.. Always fun to drive on a Dallas highway while a monsoon is going on! My wonderful, perfect, loving terrific husband is taking care of the boys. He was given permission to work from home while I am gone this week. So, he is home taking care of the kids. I have the truck, so the fam is stuck at home till I get back.. ha ha. ;) Hope this note finds all well!!

Pride in parenting

Well, my little boys... decided to make me a movie. I LOVED it. I did have to make a couple of critiques, but that is what a home school mom must do right... I am going to post it on here for all to enjoy. It is about 5 and 1/2 minutes long I think.. A couple disclaimers... most of it is Ezekiel.. but with some of his brothers in there.. and a random kaylee picture! hahaha And... The pics at the begining were mislabled... it is Ez at 5 weeks. My garden

A dear friend of mine from church gave me some plants to start a garden!! YAY So, my hubby helped me create a garden!! I have some before and After pictures! He also, put in a sprinkler system in the front yard! I have such a handy hubby!!!!

Ethan's fun evening

I think all know that Kaylee, our cousin, came home with us from Abq... Well, tonight she asked Ethan for some help....

So, he started by removing the old nail polish....


Then he started carefully applying the new polish....


Made sure he got every nail evenly... *and a little finger too*




Here is the final product! Not too bad for his first time!! hehehehehehe Happy Friday night!!

Fair is fair!

Well, I decided since I put pics of everyone else playing the new game.. I should put one of me too! So here is a pic of me and Gavin enjoying the new game!!!




The other thing I have to put a picture of, is the coolest invention EVER!!! This is a MUST HAVE *Sarah, are you taking notes?* This is a thermometer! You run it across the forehead then just touch it behind the ear.. takes 2 seconds and you get an accurate temp reading!! 30$ at Sams club!! It has made life sooo easy with us all sick this last week!!! Yay for technology!

New Toy

We got our boys a new toy today.. They have all wanted it for a while. Now I will never get any of my boys off the x-box! hehehee We got guitar hero world tour.. that has all the instruments... and a mic. So all 4 can play at the same time! yay! Free time for mom!!!! Here are a couple pics. :)

Godly men and good dr's

I have to praise God for putting the people in our lives that he has. I got strep the day after we got home.. :S and I was kind enough to share.. so now, Kaylee has it... We have her card now... but didn't. One of our elders at our church is a dr. and he is happy to see her... no worry about payment. Thankyou God for putting these people in our lives when we need them! Thank you too God for giving men and women the knowlege to care for us while we are here!!
